Simulating the Toyota Prius Electric Motor

This article is intended to look at the implementation of electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis in a real world problem in order to gain insights and best practices around this type of analysis. EMCWA, a 501c (3) Not-for-Profit Technical and Educational Society has held this event annually for over thirty years. This is the second time that EMCWA has held the event in Milwaukee. The EMCW Expo is co-locating with the Electrical Wire Processing Expo an event dedicated to the manufacturing of wire harness assemblies.
